Legacy:
The legacy of Ashiana-e-Rehmah traces its roots to the 1990s, inspired by the unwavering commitment of our elders to uplifting the underprivileged through charity and the provision of essential resources. This organization stands as a living tribute to the remarkable vision and enduring legacy of the late Ch. Taj Din Mansha, who firmly believed that education is the cornerstone of societal progress.
As the Secretary General of the All Pakistan Bedsheet and Upholstery Manufacturing Association, Ch. Taj Din Mansha was a trailblazer, spearheading the establishment of numerous educational and industrial institutions across southern Punjab. His visionary leadership and relentless efforts resulted in the creation of several transformative initiatives, including:
University College of Textile Engineering Multan (now affiliated with Bahauddin Zakariya University)
Multan Dry Port Trust
Textile Scientific Research Center Multan (in collaboration with Novartis)
Women’s Income Generation Center for Home Textiles (in collaboration with Japan)
Cluster Council for Bedsheet & Upholstery Manufacturing
Late Ch. Tajdin Mansha (May Allah Bless His Soul)
Ch. Taj Din Mansha’s contributions have left an indelible mark on the educational and industrial landscape of the region, fostering innovation, economic growth, and opportunities that continue to benefit generations.
Building on this rich legacy, Ashiana-e-Rehmah took a significant step forward in 2014 with the launch of a formal initiative aimed at addressing the needs of the underprivileged in a more structured and impactful way. Guided by the grace and blessings of Allah, the organization has since expanded its reach, implementing diverse projects that bring hope, dignity, and empowerment to those in need.
